The story of the album revolves around peace and war, asking important questions like who gets to decide the fate of another human being. It's urban and dystopian, yet with a hint of hope. Not all is always lost even when it seems to. The name of the album hints towards the Second World War, hence the graveyard of origami cranes. The long forgotten symbols of hope, some still standing, lit by a faint sunrise piercing through the dust.
The album booklet can be folded into actual paper cranes, providing every listener a way to add their voice to our collective call for help.
